JCI UK 2018 National Convention – Senate Programme
The Senate programme for the 2018 JCI UK National Convention; 23rd – 25th November, hosted by JCI Doncaster.
Friday afternoon will provide the opportunity for Senators to visit Doncaster’s historic Mansion House, built between 1745 and 1749 and one of only four surviving Mansion Houses in the country.
On Saturday morning we will be putting a trip on for Senators to the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum.
As the aircraft museum can get a little chilly in winter months, we will also be providing a hot drink and cake on this visit.
Sunday morning will be the traditional Senate breakfast, which will be served in the hotel’s 300 year old manor house.
In addition to the Senate specific activities, there will also be the opportunity to spend time with the membership delegation, including at the Friday night social (theme; Past, Present and Future You’), taking part in the breakout activities, including the virtual reality aircraft simulator, and helping First Timers complete their competition quiz. The pinnacle of the weekend will, of course, be the gala dinner and awards celebration on Saturday night.
The Early Bird rate of just £135 has been extended up until the end of June.
In addition to the reduced cost, there is also the opportunity to pay for the Early Bird ticket over 3 x monthly instalments.
From 1st July, the normal rate will be £160, up until 30th September.
We have secured an accommodation rate at the conference hotel, Holiday Inn Doncaster (A1 (M), Jct.36), of £82 per room per night, including breakfast.
For those Senators who can’t attend for the whole weekend, we hope they can join us for the gala dinner and/or Senate breakfast.
The Senate breakfast is just £10 for hotel residents and £25 for non-residents, and a ticket for the gala dinner is £50, including a 3 course dinner and wine.
