Saturday 10th is a joint event with JCI UK Foundation
The Vintage Sports Car Club ( VSCC) host their annual race car meeting at Oulton Park, Little Budworth, Tarporley, Cheshire.
There is a whole day of racing with qualifying for several different races from 9am to lunchtime. After the lunch break there will be seven or eight races including the Morgan Challenge national championship, with Senator (and former Foundation Chairman) Andrew Thompson at the wheel of his 3.7 litre Ford Mustang powered Morgan Roadster – car no. 66 – hopefully “somewhere near” the font of the grid.
Foundation members and Senators booking via Andrew can purchase tickets for just £10 per person instead of the usual £19pp
These tickets will get you into the circuit and also allow you to use the VSCC members refreshment tent with tea, coffee and cakes available throughout the day.
Bring along a picnic and a blanket and enjoy a day’s racing in the sunshine. For those who prefer a hot lunch, the on-site restaurant is very good and for those arriving early , their full English breakfast is wonderful !
Oulton Park is one of the top five circuits in the country and a delightful piece of parkland.
It is about 15 to 20 minutes drive from the M6 junction 18 and about the same from Chester.
To book tickets send your details to Andrew Thompson.
Andrew will post the tickets to you in the week before the race Saturday.
