Take a Break in Beautiful Beverley

Friday 18th July to Sunday 20th July 2025

Beverley is a charming market town known for its impressive minster. Recently recognised as one of the best places to live in the UK by The Sunday Times, it’s a must-visit gem. Whether you’re looking for fun or a culture-filled weekend, Beverley has something for everyone.

The town boasts a grand gothic minster, picturesque market squares, and beautiful Georgian townhouses. It’s rich in history, yet vibrant and welcoming today.

Interested in culture? Follow the town’s medieval trail to see its creative talents like bakers, musicians, and puppet makers. As you explore, look up to see Fred Elwell’s paintings. Don’t miss Beverley Minster, one of Europe’s best gothic buildings, and St Mary’s Church, where you’ll find the white rabbit that inspired Alice in Wonderland.

The town is easy to explore on foot, with a mix of independent boutiques and high street stores. There’s also a popular market every Saturday.

You can make your own fun while enjoying Senate friendship or take part in some relaxed, organised activities.
